About the General Worker Role

General Workers help the production team by doing tasks. They make sure production runs smoothly and products meet the companys quality standards.

The job requires people who’re physically fit, dependable and willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Purpose of the Role

The main purpose of the job is to support production activities by doing labour tasks. This includes assisting with production handling products safely and maintaining cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

General Production Support: Your daily tasks will include helping with production assisting production teams and completing tasks assigned by supervisors.

Product Handling: You will handle products carefully throughout the production process. This includes moving products assisting with packaging and preparing products for storage or dispatch.

Packaging and Shrink Wrapping: You will also shrink wrap finished products prepare them for storage and transportation and support packaging operations

Quality Control Support: You will help maintain product quality by identifying products separating defective items and reporting damaged goods to supervisors.

Loading and Warehouse Support: You may also assist with loading products safely moving stock within the facility and preparing orders for dispatch.

Housekeeping and Hygiene: You will maintain a clean production environment by cleaning workstations keeping production areas organised and disposing of waste correctly.

Health and Safety: You must always follow workplace health and safety procedures wear required equipment and report unsafe conditions immediately.

Additional Duties

You may also complete tasks assigned by supervisors assist other departments and support production during busy periods.

Minimum Requirements
