Day-to-Day Activities of the Department
The Waste Water Collection division works daily to maintain sewage systems and ensure that wastewater flows properly through the city’s infrastructure. Workers regularly inspect and maintain pump stations, clean equipment, and respond to technical problems that may affect the wastewater system.
Typical daily activities include:

Job Position: Pump Station Attendant
The Pump Station Attendant is responsible for ensuring that wastewater pump stations operate properly and remain clean and functional. The role involves maintaining the pump station environment, monitoring equipment, and reporting any operational problems to supervisors.
The main goal of the job is to ensure the continuous and efficient movement of wastewater through municipal infrastructure.
Job Requirements
