Job Summary

The Road Worker is an entry-level operational position under the Directorate: Nkangala District and the Chief Directorate: Nkangala District, within the Road Maintenance Programme.

Minimum Competencies

Requirements

• Education: Grade 10 Certificate (essential)
• Experience: No prior work experience required
• Residency: Must be a South African citizen and resident of Mpumalanga

Position Responsibilities

The Road Worker will perform the following duties:

• Render patch work and basic road repairs
• Bush clearing along roadsides
• Erect road signs and other safety signage
• Clean drainage systems to prevent water accumulation
• Remove rubbish and debris from roads and adjacent areas
• Execute any activities related to road maintenance as required

Salary Package

• Annual salary: R163 680 per year
